Description
Summary: The aim of the work is to increase the amount of electrical energy generated by photovoltaic panels installed in designated areas within the territory of industrial enterprises. Maximization is achieved by selecting the optimal type of solar panels, taking into account the actual solar insolation at the surfaces where they are installed. The active integration of renewable energy sources by industrial enterprises enables a reduction in electricity consumption from the general grid, ensures an uninterrupted power supply, improves energy efficiency, etc. Distributed energy sources can be installed in quarries, waste dumps, vacant areas between industrial buildings, and on the roofs of industrial buildings. The rooftops have a large area, a shape that is convenient for installing photovoltaic panels, and less shade than land plots. Determining the optimal location of solar panels when designing solar power plants allows for more efficient use of the available space for their installation and minimizes potential shading. The paper proposes an approach to maximizing the generation volume of solar power plants built on industrial enterprise territory. The proposed methodology enables the selection of the optimal solar power plant option by considering all possible installation locations and photovoltaic panel types. The proposed methodology is applied using the example of an industrial enterprise whose workshops have rooftops suitable for installing solar panels. Ref. 11, Fig. 2, Tables 3.
