Summary:Process of optical information reading by near-field probe based on optical plasmon microstrip line from ROM-format optical disk is analyzed. Parameters of optical near-field optical reading depending on size of microstrip probe are calculated. Found that a pattern of flow of electromagnetic fields at top of probe depends on length of probe and thickness of metal coating.
