The radio physical model allows, in the way of a ship according to the measured gradients of the refractive index, to determine the trajectory of propagation of electromagnetic waves, which affect radar detection navigation facilities. Рассмотрена радиофизическая модель тропосферы, представляющая собой уравнение связи радиофизических параметров тропосферы с поляризационными параметрами электромагнитной волны, излучаемой и принимаемой антенной судовой радиолокационной станции. Радиофизическая модель позволяет на пути судна по измеренным градиентам показателя преломления определить вид траектории распространения электромагнитной волны, влияющей на радиолокационное обнаружение навигационных объектов. Розглянуто радіофізичну модель тропосфери, що представляє собою рівняння зв’язку радіофізичних параметрів тропосфери з поляризаційними параметрами електромагнітної хвилі, яка випромінюється та приймається антеною суднової радіолокаційної станції. Радіофізична модель дозволяє на шляху судна, за виміряними градієнтами показника заломлення, визначити вид траєкторії поширення електромагнітної хвилі, який впливає на радіолокаційне виявлення навігаційних об’єктів.
