Data Recording, Storage & ProcessingРезюме: | A large number of foreign works devoted to information retrieval from monitor screens do not detail important aspects of experimental research. It is shown which undisclosed details of the experiments complicate further research on the effectiveness of the removal methods. The research deals with the analysis of the structure of information leakage signals from monitors and the contradictions in their presentation for different standard sizes of screens that arise due to inaccuracies in measuring their spectral characteristics. A typical model of a leakage signal in the form of a sequence of pixels, horizontal blank-pulses and vertical blank-pulses has been substantiated. The processes of signal formation in video cards of personal computers monitors are considered and for a simplified (two-tone static image) spectral representation of the test signal is found in the form of a sequence of white and black pixels, which form vertical stripes, pixel wide for an infinite analysis time. Time models of signals with spectral characteristics that differ from the measured ones with relative errors of a few percent are obtained. Calculations of spectra for four standard sizes of monitor screens are made. It is noted that time models of information leakage from monitor screens on rare-crystal structures can be used in further studies of spurious emissions only after checking the correspondence of the calculated spectra to real spurious emissions from monitor screens obtained in a room shielded from radio emissions.
