Data Recording, Storage & ProcessingРезюме: | The number of information attacks on socio-psychological processes is increasing. They usually cause panic and negative impact on the lives of social groups in society. It is presented a model of control for information attacks counteracting in the cyberspace of the modern information society. The model is based on a nonlinear differential equation, which describes both the change in the number of persons over time, and the corresponding tasks for cybersecurity service to prevent the negative consequences of potential or implemented cyberattacks. This made it possible to study the dynamics of the number of subjects that are affected by the information attack. Four possible variants (scenarios) of behavior of the proposed model are selected and analyzed in detail. This provided an opportunity to develop effective methods for control of the process of information attacks countering. Also here, depending on the chosen behavioral variant of the developed model, the interpretation of four possible variants (scenarios) of deployment of counteraction to negative consequences of potential or realized information attacks in the cyberspace of modern information society was presented. Based on the obtained results, it is possible to develop powerful methods for identifying the characteristics and parameters of information attacks in cyberspace, through which quantitative values of the parameters of the proposed model can be expressed. This opens up opportunities for the development of a computer system to support decision-making based on them for the cybersecurity management structures of the country as a whole. The constructed model and the obtained results allow protecting society in cyberspace in two directions. First, it is possible to identify scenarios of information attacks that are most harmful to society and the country. It should be borne in mind that attackers may well carry out complex attacks, ordering in time, for example, the above scenarios. Secondly, after identifying the attack scenario, one can, using the results obtained in the research, to develop optimal measures to combat malicious information attack in cyberspace. Fig.: 4.
