Резюме:There is a growing dynamics of threats to critical infrastructure caused by hostilities in the east of the country, forced migrants, uncontrolled proliferation of weapons, industrial restructuring and climate change. Rapid integration of resources is needed to deal with emerging crises and threats to critical infrastructure in a timely manner. This requires the situation modeling and modern methods of decision support. According to forecasts, by the end of this year, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine should adopt the bill № 5219-1 «On Critical Infrastructure and its Protection» introduced by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine 18 March 2021. The concept of creating a state system of critical infrastructure protection was approved by the Order No. 1009r of 06 December 2017 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The purpose of the study is to highlight the importance and relevance of issues to support decision-making to protect critical infrastructure. The research outlines the problem of adopting laws and regulations that will define (specify) the task of minimizing risks and ensuring the protection of critical infrastructure. Decision-making processes to protect critical infrastructure and features of their design are considered. Descriptions of the course of information transformation and requirements for modeling situations for these processes, as well as recommendations for improving the efficiency of problem solving and intellectualization of finding of decision-making technologies that allow, after the adoption of the Law of Ukraine «On Critical Infrastructure and its Protection» to develop situational centers for protection of critical infrastructure as modern security management systems in Ukraine. It is shown that the most economical approach to improving the current system of state monitoring is to improve the handling of data processing and information transformation. The materials of this artic-le, after the entry into force of this law, can be used to improve decision-making processes in situational centers of public authorities in order to protect critical infrastructure.
