Резюме:Today, society cannot imagine its life without the use of information technology used in all spheres of human activity. An important part of modern life is the use of instant messaging systems, which allow you to quickly receive the necessary information, exchange messages, files, images, sound signals, create and use group chats, make calls, polls and more. Among the main services for messaging are: Skype, Telegram, Viber, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and more. The use of instant messaging systems is gaining great use in the work of counseling centers, providing automation of counseling services. Due to the growing popularity of Telegram among young people, simple and intuitive interface, data privacy, access from multiple devices at once, no restrictions on media and chat, availability of open source and API for developers, protection against interception and hacking, and availability of wide functionality the purpose of the work is to automate the provision of consulting services using modern instant messaging systems. To do this, the study analyzed modern instant messaging systems, studied the work of bots, identified problematic issues that were most often addressed to counseling centers, developed and experimentally studied Telegram-bot. As a result, a Telegram-bot was developed, which provides information on: the sequence of steps (algorithm of actions) when entering the university for bachelor's degree and educational master's degree; specialties (educational programs) of the university, for which specialists of bachelor's degree and educational master's degree are trained; cost and duration of training; rules of admission to the university; educational centers; common questions and answers about admission; useful information for entrants and contacts of the admissions committee (address, telephone numbers, schedule of the consultation center). In addition to the Telegram-bot keyboard, a menu of university specialties was developed to display information on each specialty, including: degrees, titles of educational programs, forms of education, the cost of education by degree and links to the website of the specialty.
