Data Recording, Storage & Processing| Резюме: | Approaches to the formation of reference images for solving the navigation problem using the correlation-extreme system are considered. The possibility (and in many cases the expediency) of using selective images of the Earth's surface as reference images, instead of direct images of the sighting surface, is proposed and proven. The analysis of possible methods for forming selective reference images is carried out. The most effective methods for segmenting digital images are presented and their comparative characteristics are carried out. Analysis of segmentation methods shows that all of them are not without drawbacks. Therefore, the choice of one or another method depends on the specific task and the influence of external factors on the properties of the images of the Earth's surface. Most likely, to solve the aircraft navigation problem, it is necessary to be able to apply several different methods of forming the reference image simultaneously.
To select a specific selective image as a reference, it is advisable to calculate the value of the quality function of the selective image, for which a two-dimensional cross-correlation function of the initial and selective images can be used.
To confirm the possibility of using segmented reference images, the results of a model experiment using a simulation model of a correlation-extreme navigation system are presented. The simulation results showed positive statistics of the number of misses and hits of a controlled aircraft at a specified point on the Earth's surface. Tabl.: 1. Fig.: 3. Refs: 11 titles. |
