Построено общее понятие информационного канала, представляющее собой расширение на все типы неопределенности понятий канала связи (теория информации) и переходного распределения вероятностей (теория вероятностей). Даны примеры каналов, в том числе — идеального и фиктивного. Кратко рассмотрены три основных способа применения информационных каналов. Побудовано загальне поняття інформаційного каналу, що являє собою розширення на всі типи невизначеності понять каналу зв’язку (теорія інформації) і перехідного розподілу ймовірностей (теорія ймовірностей). Подані приклади каналів, у тому числі — ідеального та фіктивного. Коротко розглянуто три основні способи застосування каналів.
