Summary:Parallel iterative domain decomposition methods are proposed for solving axisymmetric contact problem for elastic bodies and the conditions of weak convergence of these methods are established. With the use of the finite element approximations, obtained methods are implemented to investigate contact interaction between two axisymmetric elastic bodies, one of which has a singular discrete cylindrical elastic coating.
