Summary:Two new approaches have been proposed to realization of electric logging, which allow to create array sonic appliances, which can determine in details geo-electric parameters of the layers with high vertical and radial separating power; geometry and the principle of measurement of the appliances based on the proposed approaches. The difference between these types of appliances and the classical ones widely used in the countries of CIS and the world has been analyzed. The results of modeling and studies of real bore holes material have been given. It has been shown that the approaches proposed make possible to create appliances with much simpler type of design than the existing ones as well as those ones, which can be used in horizontally inclined bore holes.
