Зважаючи на необхідність забезпечити енергетичну незалежність України після закінчення війни, доцільно заздалегідь виявити структури, придатні для видобутку вуглеводневої сировини у недосяжному на сьогодні регіоні північно-західного шельфу Чорного моря. Для цього було проведено двовимірне гравітаційне моделювання за мережею субмеридіональних профілів, яке дозволило визначити глибинну будову та розломну тектоніку. На основі аналізу результатів розрахунків визначено перспективність району досліджень на поклади вуглеводнів, що може бути використано під час пошукових роботах на зазначеній акваторії. S.
