OIL AND NATURAL GAS IN THE NORD AMERICA’S CONTINENTAL SLOPE

 In the North America’s continental slope off Canada, Mexico and USA, there are 322 deepwater (222-3042 m) oil and gas fields. Their total reserves are equal to 7605 million tons of oil equivalent in the Pleistocene, Cenozoic and Mesozoic sands and sandstones at the depths of 879 to 10 692 m.
