Description
Summary:The methodology has been developed on the comprehensive assessment of geological environment and quantitative validation of the impact of hazardous geological processes on the functionality of pipe-transporting nature-technical systems in various landscape-climatic zones. The methodology is based on the interrelated and validated geological, geologic-physical, mathematical and geoinformational models of the complex nature-technical systems. It has been used the main principles of continuum mechanics, hydromechanics, hydrodynamics, mapping modeling (GIS-analysis). The original methods have been proposed on formalization of the geological multi-factor impacts on the functioning of transporting nature-technical systems. The newly developed methodology would enhance the forecast of the impact of hazardous geological processes on the transport constructions, would allow to make recommendations on the operational sustainability of transporting objects and to prevent extreme situations.
