Резюме:Along with conventional recourses, the unconventional gas recourses start to have a great influence on changing the Fuel and Energy Complex. Primarily, the shale gas, tight gas and coal bed methane extraction increases greatly among other gas recourses. In Ukraine the prospects of gas production are associated with the old black shales on the mesokatagenesis zone of hydrocarbon basins. There are several perspective areas of shale rocks, namely, Juzivska and Oleska fiels. The shale gas extraction may negatively influence the ecological situation. The hydrofracking may affect pollution of underground body of water and activate of induced earthquakes and landslides. The general goal of this approach is to identify the priority geological objects for to forecast and explore the unconventional gas. Special focus should be made on the complex of tectonical-geodynamical (including seismic monitoring), hydro-geological (including hydro-geochemical monitoring of artesian water, groundwater and surface water), geochemical (including the definition of abnormal concentrations of methane, helium, radon and its derivatives) and aerospace (including mapping of modern tectonic faults) research. In future the investigation results will be used as complex estimate criteria of environmental risks of unconventional gas extraction.
