Description
Summary: It is established that shaping of varied-height compensating surfaces of the Sudak–Kara-Dag region of the East Crimea occurred as a result differentiated vertical tectonic motions along the faults of diagonal and orthogonal directions at the time of post-Karangat. The active erosional processing of region had led to shaping of contemporary pediment with the characteristic residual mesa and cone-type mountains. It is established also, that the known terraces of the Sudak–Kara-Dag region of the Crimea are the fragments of the pediment, which was formed as a result of erosion processing and block division of united Karangat compensating surface.
