Mechnykov National University. Her role in the development of marine geology, paleontology, ecological micropaleontology, and marine geoarchaeology is highlighted. Among her most significant achievements as a marine paleontologist is the clarification of issues of global importance relating to the paleoecological, paleontological, and paleohydrological history of the Caspian-Black Sea-Mediterranean region.
