Energy transfer in co-doped NaI:(Tl,Eu) crystals
The energy transfer mechanism in Eu doped and Tl, Eu co-doped NaI crystals is discussed. The self-trapped exciton emission band overlaps stronger with Eu²⁺ excitation bands rather that with Tl⁺.
