In excavations of ancient settlements of the Ukraine fish bones were found. They belonged chiefly to big Cyprinus carpio L., Rutilus frisii Nord m., Silurus glanis L. The presence of big bones of some fish species in a great number of burials might evidence for the ritual character of these remains....
