The summer macrophytobenthos of Taman peninsula coast is described on the material collected during the expedition in July of 2007. Sixty two macroalgae species were revealed in research area (Chlorophyta – 24 species, Phaeophyta – 6 species, Rhodophyta – 32 species). Wide-boreal and boreal-tropical annual species predominated. The description of typical macrophytic assemblages was made. Water vegetation consists mostly of annual associations, which makes shallow Taman coast especially vulnerable to antropogenic disturbance.
