Zusammenfassung:Analysis of fundamental researches performed by world wide known geologists in the last and modern centuries allow to compile and re-interpret peculiarities of tectonics, magmatism, stratygraphy and economic minerals deposits within the Western margin of the East-European Craton meaning as passive continental margin. This paper gives geological characteristics of separate tectonic constituents of the Baltic-Dniester peri-cratonic belt with accent on their economic minerals potential. The principal tectonic items here are the Volyn-Polissya Depression, Lukiv-Ratne Horst Zone, Lviv Paleozoic Depression as well as the Western slopes of the Baltic Shield and Ukrainian Shield. Riphean-Phanerozoic platform sedimentary cover of the Baltic-Dniester peri-cratonic belt hosts ore mineralization of barite-fluorite-sulfide and precious metals ore formations. Bakhtynske fluorite deposit, Zhvanske phosphorite deposit, Grynchutske chalcedony flint deposit, copper deposits in the Volynian volcanogenic series and bauxite deposits are located within the Southern-Western margin ot the East-European Craton. Genesis of some mineral deposits still remains controversial as they have features of both hydrothermal and sedimentary origin.
