Food Industry Economics| Zusammenfassung: | The article deals with the features of staff motivation and stimulation at industrial enterprises in theconditions of the worldwide COVID 19 pandemic. An analysis of the pandemic impact on motivational function implementation by managers has been made. First of all this is expressed by the need to adapt motivation and incentive systems to the new conditions of pandemic restrictions in 2020-2022. The problems ofmanagement science and practice regarding the level of innovative managerial competence of functionalmanagers have been highlighted. During periods of rapid crisis changes in the external environment thiscompetence becomes a significant prerequisite for effective innovation management in the implementation ofthe motivational function in accordance with features of industrial enterprises.An approach to solving some problems of staff motivation and stimulation in a pandemic conditionhas been proposed. It means the organization of an innovative system of professional training for managerialpersonnel that will ensure the formation of the maximum level of managerial competence precisely in theareas of innovative and motivational function of management. Such step will make it possible to generaterelevant knowledge in the field of anti-crisis transformation of personnel motivation systems.Based on the opinion of Ukrainian and foreign scientists, analytical reviews of global consulting companies, statistical reports of the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, we have analyzed the specific features of the causal links between the spread of the COVID 19 pandemic and theimpact of this process on staff motivation and stimulation of industrial enterprises. Key positions of this approach are: any subject-object interaction in management is the interaction of people and owing to the factthat the pandemic influences people’s health, life, ability to work, this situation complicates the direct responsibilities of the personnel department managers, whose main goal is to realize only one but very capaciousfunction – motivation. The analysis of these problems has allowed to form an approach to find ways of improvement management skills for maximum efficiency during similar crisis periods in the future. Key positionsof this approach are: using of the intensive change management strategy for the new motivation system andfor people behavior adaptation in pandemic restrictions; upgrading of a manager’s key skills of change management are a, which is better for business long-term development.The nature of each problem has been explained and commented on. |
