Summary:The task of the scientific research is to evaluate the level of strength under the conditions of compression testing of a hard alloy made of a porous high-modulus skeletal structure based on WC by the seepage method. And also to investigate the dependence of the limits of strength c, elasticity e, the limit value of plastic deformation pf , specific works of general A and plastic deformations Ap on the parameters of the microstructure of composites of this class.          It was established that in the case when the porous WC(Co) skeleton is impregnated with cobalt (composite with maximum strength), e and c weakly depend on the size of the WC grain (in the range from 20 to 80 μm) and the thickness of the cobalt coating (from 1, 11 µm to 7.6 µm). Plasticity, on the other hand, increases significantly with an increase in dWC and . Similarly, A and Ap also change. The application of the proposed analytical method of mathematical modeling helps to establish the optimal structure, phase composition and technological parameters in the development of new materials.
