To do this, it is necessary to increase the level of energy efficiency and promote the use of environmentally friendly renewable energy technologies in particular geothermal energy. Geothermal energy is an established and relatively mature form of commercial use of renewable energy sources. One of the important characteristics is the high load factor, which means that each MW of power produces significantly more electricity during the year than MW of wind or solar capacity. |
