Problems of Control and Informatics| Резюме: | A method of compression of text images on the basis of forming and classification of vertical elements of character data line of graphic dictionary obtained on the first stage of automatic classification of characters is proposed. It allows forming the new dictionary of vertical elements of line and the map of their placing which have a less volume in an aggregate, than initial graphic dictionary. The offered two-stage algorithm of compression of image of text has about 25 % advantage in the degree of compression in comparison with algorithm of JB2 format of DjVu at resolution of text from 200 to 600 dpi. |
