Two schemes of installations are presented, which should be used both for continuous supply of high-temperature molten metals based on iron and for their intermittent metered supply to molds. The second design is most effectively adapted for the continuous supply of copper and its alloys. The basic units included in both constructions are a furnace, an induction heater, a reversible induction motor, a metal pipe for melt transportation and a quick-release reconfigurable unit for forming and supplying a flat melt flow - a horizontal slot nozzle. The designs of metal pipelines that are part of the devices also have similar elements. In addition, both designs of metal pipelines for the possibility of recirculation of the melt in the crucible are made according to the scheme of a closed hydraulic circuit. The hydraulic circuit includes a pressure pipe that provides injection of the melt into a horizontal slit nozzle and a drain pipe, which, in the above embodiments of the hydraulic circuit, has several functions. Due to the fact that, when installing the hydraulic circuit, the drain pipe is raised to a certain height relative to the horizontal axis of the slot nozzle, it supports in the process of distributing the melt pressure stabilization function in the horizontal slot nozzle. The metastatic pressure Pm, which is created by a column of molten metal of height H is calculated by the formula: Pm = pH, where p is the density of the liquid metal. In the construction of metal pipelines, the drain pipe is closed to the crucible by a discharge pipe, which is mounted in the side wall of the crucible. The first design uses a shortened system for transporting melts, so it is more suitable for casting high-temperature melts such as iron-carbon and alloy steels. The design features of the next installation include an extended flow system for transportation, making it more efficient for the supply of non-ferrous metals and alloys. In the present case, the supply of melt to the foundry machine is provided by a method in which the combination of operations of recirculation of the melt in the crucible and the creation of the required metastatic pressure.
