Зазначені морфологічні особливості, ілюстрації, опис місцезнаходжень і коефіцієнт зустрічальності деяких цікавих видів діатомових бентосу, що виявлені раніше при дослідженнях бухти Ласпі (південний берег Криму, Чорне море). Усього серед 193 видів (208 внутрішньовидових таксонів) виявлені 11 видів, рідких для Чорного моря і 27 видів, нових для Криму.
