Дослідженнями встановлено, що води водойм Західної балки дендропарку “Олександрія” значно забруднені Cr6+ – нафтопродуктами та NH4+, а донні відклади цих водойм – важкими металами, особливо хромом і марганцем, та нафтопродуктами. Наслідком забруднення водних об'єктів парку є погіршення стану рослинності. M.M.
