The rotating magnetic field in the liquid metal magnetic system is excited by a permanent magnet rotor with the stator winding currents. The necessity of a separate determination of the excitation fields and currents of the stator winding. For an arbitrary rotation speed of the liquid metal boundary conditions are derived for the magnetic potential on the surface of the blanks, and found the magnetic field distribution in the cavity stirrer produced by a permanent magnet rotor.
