It was revealed that elements of the system can be effectively implemented in the Ukraine too. Проаналізовано досвід США в області управління електроспоживанням. Встановлено, що система заходів DSM (Demand Side Management, або управління споживанням) виявилась ефективною для вирішення низки проблем, пов'язаних із дефіцитом та подорожчанням енергетичних ресурсів, а також необхідністю в нових генеруючих потужностях. Виявлено, що елементи цієї системи заходів можуть бути ефективними і для впровадження в Україні.
