System Research in Energy| Zusammenfassung: | Adoption of amendments to the Law of Power Sector of Ukraine gives essential additional stimulus for electricity from renewables, it may lead to increase of renewable electricity part in common electricity supply of Ukraine Energy Sector even in short term. The limitations and advantages of different renewable electricity-generating technologies are analyzed in the article and most relevant factors are determined. The main scientific approach used is system analysis. The approach takes into account uncertainty of future exogenous data and energy system's working conditions. The calculations were made taking into consideration all relevant factors and its uncertainty. Comparing already exist generating capacity development scenarios consists in Energy Strategy of Ukraine these new conditions may lead to 1,5—2 times increase of electricity price in 2030 and additional 40 % increase of GHG emissions in Ukrainian Power Sector. This situation is explained by the reason that growing renewable electricity production lead to decrease of electricity generation on NPP. Moreover, increase of electricity price lead to decrease of it total consumption by electricity-to-heat converters, which are able accumulate of energy. All these factors lead to more difficult modes of operation of Heat Power Plants. That is why implementation of green tariff on electricity from renewables according to adopted amendments to the Law of Power Sector of Ukraine is poorly grounded and may lead to negative economic and environment effects. |
