Description
Summary:The article considers the combined solar and heat pump heating system of the building with a compensating traditional source of energy. A methodical approach to heat supply calculation for a specific building is presented. The approach allows partial calculating of heat supply needs, covered by the thermal pump and the solar system, as well as determining their capacity required to meet the building’s needs.A building with a general volume of V=300m3, constructed of newest energy-saving materials with regard to modern norms and requirements, was selected for the energy efficiency analysis. The amount of heat required for heat supply of this building was calculated. According to the obtained values of heat capacity, a building in Kyiv requires Q=6,13kW, while in Sevastopol it’s Q=4,37kW, which is 29% lower than in Kiev. Thus, renewable sources in Kyiv are able to cover 36,3% of the needs (18,8% by solar system, 17,5% by heat pump), while in Sevastopol the value reaches 88,6% (64% by solar system, 24,6% by heat pump).
