У роботі проведено детальний аналіз статистичних показників та результатів енергетичних аудитів системам централізованого теплопостачання (СЦТ). Визначено їх внесок у теплозабезпечення міських поселень. Оцінено зрушення у структурі виробництва теплової енергії СЦТ та стан їх основного обладнання. Досліджено зміни попиту на теплову енергію СЦТ протягом 2005–2014 рр. та виявлено їх причини.
