Ukrainian Academic Grid consolidatesthe computing power and storage resources of more than30 research institutes of NAS-Ukraine. This ensures functionalenvironment, which provides solution of a wide range of scientificproblems.The paper presents the results of the use of grid infrastructurecreated in the Institute of Radio Astronomy of National Academyof Sciences of Ukraine for numerical solving of problems invarious fields of astronomy, astrophysics and radio physics.Promising areas of wider use of parallel computing in scientificresearch are proposed.
