Резюме:The article focuses on utilizing lands in Chernobyl exclusion zone in terms of using these lands for the installation of power plants running on renewables. The article presents a set of state Ukrainian regulations in respect of renewable energy development and implementation. This set should be the legislative basis for installing PV and solar power plants in Chernobyl exclusive zone. The plants should further start generating electricity thus adding it to the united power grid of Ukraine. There has been considered PV potential in the above mentioned zone and approximate estimations have been made as for electricity production in this area. There has been also considered an option to install, build up and provide for cmplex PV and wind power plants operation in the Chernobyl exclusion zone. This combination will ensure increasing electricity production thus compensating annual electricity yield on the basis of already existing infrastructure.
