Резюме:Decentralization of the energy sector, with a focus on developing distributed generation, is one of the key areas of energy development, the support of which is declared in state-level strategic documents. The implementation of RES distributed generation units in local power systems requires consideration of their local energy potential, particularly for WPPs and SPPs with significantly variable power, which depends on natural and meteorological conditions. The article presents an approach to solving the current problem of determining economically feasible volumes of distributed generation using low-carbon and renewable energy sources within the local energy system to maximize electricity supply and reduce CO2 emissions. The developed method is based on the iterative application of a mathematical programming model for determining the optimal structure and mode of use of units when covering the daily load schedules of the local power system during the year with the formation of the results of optimization calculations in a monthly and annual summary to assess the performance indicators of the obtained structures in the specified ranges of limitations of the variable number of distributed generation units. The choice of the appropriate number of WPP and PV units is ensured by comparing the results of the operation of the obtained capacity structures when covering the electricity demand of the local power system during the year according to such indicators as the cost of electricity, the share of renewable energy in consumption and CO2 emissions.
