Vidnovluvana energetika| Zusammenfassung: | Solar energy is considered one of the most efficient and applicable renewable energy sources used in cities, ur-ban development and individual buildings. The use of solar radiation has high potential. It is extremely important to measure or predict the intensity of solar radiation for many systems development efforts in order to maximize the use of solar energy. This paper investigates the solar radiation potential for modern urban development. Such data can be used for planning solar system installations in medium and large cities. This can significantly reduce the cost of equipment and specific costs for each individu-al household. To determine the potential of solar energy under urban development conditions, a mathematical model was used. It calculates the solar irradiation incident on building roofs and facades within an urban area throughout the day, taking into account seasonal variation, cloudiness, shading, and the angle of surface inclination relative to the horizontal. In order to take into account the influ-ence of cloudiness, archival hydrometeorological observation data for the city of Dnipro were digitized and then used. The obtained results provide an opportunity to determine the optimal locations for in-stalling solar systems on urban building facades. These results also provide practical information for the solar energy industry. The obtained data can be used to justify investments in renewable energy. |
