Summary:Previous authors have carried out a regional assessment of geothermal resources of Ukraine for the large hydrogeological structures. Selection of promising facilities using geothermal resources requires a more detailed assessment. Here the determination of the energy potential by the field level has performed. The energy potential estimation of certain geothermal deposits in Ukraine based on the factual data of oil and gas wells was carried out. The assessment was performed by a volumetric method. The heat capacity is 60 million tons of nominal fuel per year. The total potential of geothermal power stations that can be created on the basis of the studied hydrothermal deposits is 2,082 MW.
